Meet the Artist:
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I’m Becka Miller, the artist behind TonyTashStudio. My creative journey began in an unexpected way, when my life was turned upside down after being diagnosed with a rare condition called Castleman’s Disease. I was suddenly homebound, recovering from surgery. During that time, I turned to art as a way to heal and create—and haven’t looked back since.
As friends and family sent flowers during my recovery, I began pressing them into wearable art, finding beauty and comfort in the delicate details of nature. What started as a therapeutic hobby quickly grew into a full-time passion project centered around sustainability, storytelling, and transformation.
My work is deeply inspired by the natural world, especially the majestic mountains of Colorado and Seattle. I launched my business in Denver and have since moved to Seattle, where I live with my wonderful partner and two curious cats, Tony and Tash—my creative companions and the namesakes of my business.
I’m passionate about keeping materials out of landfills and giving them new life. I love bold colors, vibrant patterns, and incorporating recycled or secondhand treasures into my designs. You can often find me tucked in the corners of thrift stores, on the hunt for unexpected pieces to repurpose into something beautiful.
A portion of my proceeds often supports the Rare Disease Foundation, allowing me to give back to the community that helped support me. Through TonyTashStudio, I hope to create pieces that reflect joy!
